Raw honey is a food noted for its exceptionally high enzyme content. Honey contains more than 75 different compounds. Among them are minerals and trace minerals, vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, organic acids, and hydrogen peroxide.

Honey can be used both internally and externally for health-giving support.
Internally, it acts as an antibacterial, anti fungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti allergenic, immune stimulant and cell re-generator. As an antibacterial, raw honey has been shown to eradicate infections and stop the growth of infections. Externally it acts as a humectant by drawing moisture to the skin, acting again as a cell re-generator which is important in wound healing.
